…ou Ce petit coup au coeur quand la lumière s’éteint et que le film commence
To Each His Cinema
On DVD at Sunny’s house with Lucía, Ben, and Sunny, on 26 March 2008, at around 23 o’clock.
This was an interesting omnibus film made for the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Cannes Film Festival. Each film was somewhere around three minutes long and had something to do with a movie theater (more than half of which were empty or contained an audience of less than five). I had already seen the Beat Takeshi one, One Fine Day, before a screening of Kantoku Banzai! in Tokyo. Also memorable were Walter Salles’ À 8 944 km de Cannes, Roman Polanski’s Cinéma érotique, and Alejandro González Iñárritu’s Anna.
Not a big fan of omnibus films, though.
