Casino Royale (Martin Campbell, 2006)

On a computer at home with Lucía, late at night after 27 August 2007 had slipped into 28 August.
I’m not generally a big Bond fan, and this film certainly wasn’t anything special, but it’s been so long since I’ve seen a movie that it was a really pleasant experience to let myself sink into the almost mechanical conventions of a Hollywood film and follow it on all its twists and turns. Also, watching the building collapse in Venice was pretty awesome (are they really all held up by inflated bags?)
